- Nancy Pelosi was just screwing up the state of California and not the whole country
- Hilary Clinton was just the sloppy seconds of fat interns and not a potential president
- Country music singers came from the good ole' USA and not Australia
- Basketball at the Olympics was a guaranteed gold medal
- "In God We Trust" was not found offensive
- Fighting global terrorism was supported by both sides of the isle (at least for a year or so)
- Going to a wedding meant you would see a bride and a groom with different genitalia
- Americans were proud to say, "I live in the greatest damn country in the world."
